Lotta people not gonna appreciate this for what it is. At this point tho it doesn't matter.
I love this a lot. It's pure emotion of a man lost in his own world.
Just f***ing listen to what he released. He put it out. It doesn't need to be perfectly mastered and how YOU expect music to be. It's so sad people are "fixing" it and hating on Jay.
You just don't understand artistic process. It's okay to edit it but don't invalidate the raw art
I think most people are appreciating it. Tbh outside of people in this thread and the discord I havent even seen people notice the transition and panning stuff.
Yeahh, lol thats why he did that
Need someone who knows supreme mathematics and supreme alphabet to find other Easter eggs in the album
Number 8 in supreme mathematics is infinity, which is the track placement of better in tune
Is there an actual source on this?

Yes
Since there are already multiple uploads of the album on youtube which are not taken down someone should upload @Oblivion99's remaster on a throwaway account tbh. Might as well give the people the best we have
The original control( originally an act 2 song)
He should've capitalized on the Control hype and dropped the full version as his remix. Then he would've had enough buzz to drop Act 2 again. Sure it wouldn't have done numbers like a Kendrick album but it would've done better than AWT.

This plus road to perdition should of been enough fr,
Does this live up to the hype
I would say yes, definitely worth checking out
This really does feel like a memoir, like living a whole life in an album, a journey. That makes it really satisfying after only hearing Jay in pieces all this time
Definitely timeless

Real ones knew it would come out and that it'd live up to the hype
still I'll be even more happy when we have an official version
The mumble verses on Nights of the Roundtable actually are a great moment on the album for me too
Hearing it all in the rough like this could add to the project idk. We will see if it gets updated but I don’t really have much desire to listen to fan made remasters right now, I understand the desire to fix the transitions but other than that I don’t really think the rough things need fixing

He didnt want it out so unfortunately there was never a chance. Dont think it was anything to do with hype tbh

Yh agreed. The transitions are the only thing for me

I'm telling you he treats his life like a mythical event.
All the greats have delusions of grandeur until they become real

this track 9 tho lol
Is everyone ready to admit that a written testimony is way underratted even tho act 2 is still better
no, it is appropriately rated as a decent but kind of disappointing piece of work
