Suspect they think it isn't worth the effort and the unpolishedness adds to the 'raw' feeling.
Polished version may not give people the same feeling/impact. Careful what you wish for.
Jay's music has always been super raw.

I'm sure there are updated versions of some tracks, but not sure the whole project was ever properly completed, mixed and mastered. That could be for a variety of reasons and why there was never an official release. Even Just Blaze saying there's a final version could just mean it was the last version worked on, not necessarily finished. Would be nice to have the latest, but what we have may not be too far off. Thanks for the remaster!

Really at this point Oblivion's remaster will be the best version we'll get and even then I'm glad it retained that rawness

TweedDiadorasRoc Nation should be doing everything in their power to clear the samples and get this on Tidal in final form, otherwise it’s a huge disservice to Jay Electronica’s career as an artist of theirs.
