Now that the initial dust has settled how is this album? Is this actually good or is just conspiracy and nation of islam ramblings.

From what I understand this was a leak and people group bought it? Stupid question but how do these people get leaks and how do they not get in trouble for selling it.

very good album. has act i vibes. not similar to a written testimony at all. blows my mind he wanted to drop that but not this.

basically someone inside jay’s camp likely got a hold of it, and sold it/gave it to someone else. then it keeps spreading until someone either leaks it or sells it to the public. from my understanding the guy who leaked this has leaked many high profile songs/albums. dude likely has many connections to get a hold of these. once its up for sale (in this case $9K) either someone can just buy it for themselves or groupbuy is formed where a f*** ton of people pitch in until the goal is met (basically a gofundme for leaks)

i could be wrong on some of that but thats the jist

how is it

there are few moments on this album that aren’t perfect

if it is mixed and mastered properly its a 9/10

if we can get a fully mastered version of this that would be amazing, but i'm happy with this.

easily some of the best sampling i’ve heard on a rap album

It's been mixed already, just hasn't gone through mastering and final touches yet

i haven’t noticed big moments on the album that feels like a verse missing

most of the songs sound finished, just not mastered or mixed

although i’ve only listened 2 times

there may have been verses on 10000 lotus petals but having an instrumental outro seems very jay esque

to be honest i’ve never been super familiar with the mixing/mastering process. not entirely sure what the difference between the two is.

some verses definitely need to be rerecorded
