Depends on the area from what I've seen. My area never has costumes and they thanked the audience for it when I saw them like a month ago. Once I saw a banana guy at a tiny diy show and he was just crowdkillkng and being an idiot a couple years ago now that I think about it

But I've seen a ton of random clips of dudes in these costumes getting rocked and ridiculed by bands at random punk shows all over

Idk if it comes from the death grips fandom initially or what but I know it was a big thing for their shows
