It's the natural result of moving away from a forum that heavily leaned into one artist and their close associates, to more of a general music forum. KTT1 was already well on its way (and had been for years) to doing that by the time we switched but with each passing year the ethos of the old KTT falls away. The site is more diverse than it's ever been in terms of race, age, and taste. There's never going to be a consensus on anything.

i mean how when a lot of this site won't even press play on something that isn't a well known rap release? all of the threads that are dead on arrival for music that may actually be getting discussed on other sections of the net... it's just not really a fair thing to say without being as active on all those other sites and apps isn't it lol. as a matter of fact, a lot of the stuff that gets posted on here is sourced from other...ah nvm.
