In case of an investigation by any federal entity or similar, I do not have any involvement with this thread or with the users in it, I do not know how I am here, probably added by a third party, I do not support any actions by the users, especially by the conductor TML in his decision to fund a movie written by James Toback who has sexually harassed young women. Film Clubβ’ denounces any actions by Toback and certainly does not condone TML's choice to purchase this movie.
Other Film Clubβ’ members were not available to comment on the controversial matter.

Regardless of whether or not you like the picks, I do think the club has had an impressive plethora of picks from obscure arthouse, foreign gems, experimental movies to more commercial and easy watches.
I was looking at some random lists of other clubs and I feel our picks in general have covered a lot more ground than most.
