Im more worried we crash so bad that the American dollar is replaced as the world currency. If it does, we literally will never recover. Im all for showing people "hey this is f***ing garbage do you see how s*** this is?" But theres a point where you dont come back from. When it gets overwhelming its good to just take a break from news like this. I get exhausted with it too.

I think it depends alot on midterms. If republicans win that, then yeah it might be time to give up lol. No more checks and balances on the big guy at that point.

I do and dont agree tbh. There's definitely career politicians gatekeeping on both sides, leaving a vacuum for more extremist politicians to enter. But those career politicians also do not give a f*** about anyone but the status quo and their pockets. There's a few well meaning govt members but it is really few and far between. But the republicans right now are absolutely hitting the f*** it button to a level we havent seen in a long time. The worst administration in modern American history and republicans just keep letting him do whatever he wants. It's their only way to keep power. If they turn on trump they lose their main base. But you're also dragging the country into hell, but who cares because you're making money.

One is worse at this period of time. It is impossible to argue unless the only thing you care about is the middle east and not people actually living in America. Dems arent great right now. But republicans are f***ing with people's rights, our economy, our ability to do business, and prices are skyrocketing across the board while they defund every program that gives anyone in the working class a chance. They are literally Satan's a******. Not to mention the coverup of the epstein files, which is a scandal that would destroy any presidency in history.

It's kind of all a mess. Midterms are pretty crucial unfortunately.

If it's any comfort, I think most democratic parliaments/sessions like this around the world are similar. Seen it in my country, other African countries, England, those videos of politicians throwing hands in Asian countries etc. People with political power rarely ever face consequences for what they say
