Yeah that’s an excellent question; as it stands currently major insurance companies will still be covering the vaccines based on 2025 recommendations through at least some part of the new year. Same thing happened with the covid boosters, there was a transition window where recommendations changed but payers still agreed to cover the cost fully
I want to say it’s possible that we see a situation where the highest tier of commercial insurance plan offers comprehensive vaccine coverage beyond CDC recommendations? I can’t think of any payer that does so for any care/procedure currently, but it’s possible. Like a Medicaid Part D add-on, but for all ages. I think rollback this most immediately f***s over Medicaid kids
Definitely seems like bad business. From my limited exposure to hospital billing (only worked w/ fam practice) there’s a constant reconfiguring between insurance companies and health system partnerships of how doctors get paid per patient that’s entirely foreign to me; and fee schedules for the cost of different aspects of a hospitalization are decided with the logic of tossed darts
State mandates would supersede any national guidelines as well, so trump voters would be hardest hit

I remember that. Nah, it was obvious this man was going to push every limit imaginable. He almost went to prison. If he ever got power again, everyone knew he wasn't letting that s*** go freely. He was going to do whatever it took and make any deal possible to make it happen. He signed off on project 2025 the second the powers that be said they could get him back in office.
