I completely agree. But, from what I understand due to the DOJ launching an investigation into this "hoax", even if the senate had a veto proof vote in favor of its release nothing would come out. It would be an ongoing investigation.

I also doubt it. Even if they do Trump could sign off on it and the DOJ could say this is an ongoing investigation and they can't release anything. I am very skeptical that we'll ever get anything out of this. Trump's DOJ would likely cook the books anyways.
