rehashing what’ve seen on other sites but the theory is “enigmas” is an anagram for “gamines” which means poor / young women (but I looked it up in French and it means kid?), which may or may not be a reach since Maxine speaks French and put them on.

the most interesting thing is that the breasts are drawn as someone much younger than everyone imagined when the description leaked (you know, most would have drawn some big cartoony and exaggerated breasts)
