Trump didn’t even gain that much more support at the booth moreso voter turnout was lower for both parties and it hurt the Dems more. GOP was spamming about the marginal increase in X demographic of voters that turned to Trump like it was an epic win for the right but it wasn’t the reason he won at all

Biden won due to the (correct) feeling that Trump was mishandling the pandemic (and then he also flip-flopped on the issue as well) in addition to the fact that people were ready for 'change' and believed the other party was going to bring it, much like they then got tired of Biden and thought "Well lets give trump another shot" I can't imagine being someone thinking that in my head and genuinely believing he's going to do anything good unless the person is someone who is wanting things to self destruct and have America's standing in the world fall drastically, which....
