Sometimes on paper for a lot of people they seem to be “helpful” with a straightforward reduction in your taxes - putting money directly in your pocket. But the economics of society are a lot more complicated than the number that appears in a bank account and unfortunately this BBL will increase costs in a myriad of ways for the average American.

I only need to average like 7 hours of OT per week to hit that lol but only 10ish usually, it depends on where I am. Used to work 60 hours per week for months at a time but my schedule is usually a little lighter these days

The deduction only applies to the OT premium portion. So say we stuck with that 30 number. Your pay would be 45 an hour OT assuming time and a half. Only the extra 15 dollars would be exempt
