Yea but bruh if niggas slam 3 planes into 3 of the top buildings in the country, there's gonna be restitution. You don't see Americans slamming planes into other countries' buildings and that's because if they did, the enemy would see all Americans as an enemy.

Like 3,000 people died in those attacks, niggas ain't finna cupcake every Middle Eastern person until they find the exact culprit. Hell nah. You gonna rain fire on mf'ers until the cowards pop out.

And by the time we finally caught his ass in 2008, we been occupying the territory for so long that we there for other reasons. But that's the price to pay for having some of your citizens carry out an attack on the nation. Same thing happened with Pearl Harbor... some dumbass niggas took a plane and killed a bunch of Americans, so they received a punishment that spanned decades. That's what's expected from the most powerful military country in the world, though. Americans expect nothing less from their government.

Would love your raw thoughts on this

The "enemy" always viewed American as an enemy and a threat because of their global interference. This may seem like a surprise to you, but geopolitics are a thing. The America didn't just get indiscriminately attacked, you idiot, and Bush-styled (and Obama) geopolitics were a factor as to why the Tea Party even occurred, and the GOP got to this point, only for conservative voters to fall for the same song and dance, as America being isolationist was foolsgold.

The point is that Democrats message shifted to mirror Trump's earlier immigration policy.

And that it was hypocritical of them.

90% of their message was "Trump is bad, and we're not Trump". But they want to change their mind and say he didn't build the wall good enough?

There's not really much good material there at least on that point, in my opinion. And of course some people are super absolutist in their takes and don't allow for nuance and they get angry about it and so on on here.

But there's really no point when they had nothing to offer instead of just 90% discount version store brand trump policies and pandering.

electoral politics telling voters what they wanna hear imagine that

She capitulated to the right because immigration was arguably the #1 election issue and the majority of voters wanted someone tough on migration

And now we've got Trump on record talking about arresting Mamdani (and other mayors) who are actively against ICE operations, allocating $75 billion to ICE in this new bill, denaturalizing american citizens, deporting people to countries they've never been to, whatever the hell this alligator alcatraz is supposed to be

Like are we actually gonna pretend this is the same man

yes, democrats are really good at looking at the polls and shifting their strategy based on what the voters want

Listen to the first 2:11 of this clip... I don't know if I have ever seen anything like this before. Lisa Murkowski is confronted by a reporter about her vote for the "Big Beautiful Bill". She says she voted for it because her state was spared of some of the negative consequences and then went on to say the bill is bad and WILL hurt Americans in other states..

These people are really gutless and are only looking out for themselves. She implies she did so because it would pass anyway somehow (even though she could have killed the bill with a no vote) and she had to look out for her state. The real reason is because she didn't want to be called out by Trump and primaried in her next election.

The provisions she wanted for Alaska were removed from the bill, and she still voted yes. She screwed over her state too.
    Edit: I was wrong

Not sure where you are getting this from, the bill still has the carve outs for Alaska, they changed the language to include Alaska in a different way since the parliamentarian struck down the first carve out.

I think she’s spineless but her voting no just means Tillis or Collins vote yes.

They strategically plan who the no votes are for electoral reasons but when it comes down to it they will get the votes they need to pass what they want.

The no votes are not actually taking a principled stand, they are granted permission to vote no because the republicans still had the numbers.

Power dynamics is a thing too. A person might feel justified, but doing some crazy s*** like killing thousands of Americans ain’t gonna do nothing but start a war.
