why are all the thiel people gay and hate trans people. the LGB without the T stuff has been the oddest part so far of this admin.

, a person expressing themselves as anything outside of the male/female binary disrupts the gendered division of labor assigned to male and female, in which the latter’s labor has historically been deemed as unskilled but also would disrupt many creeds/rules/traditons of older times (carried to now) where males were deemed as the property owner, head of house, etc

Anything that breaks this norm is a underlying sign that this the above under American capitalism (nuclear family, men as head of household, obedience to the father)

They hate LGB people too but it is easier to hide that you identify as that, and of course many of them have self-conflicting views about their own sexuality so it makes it much harder to attack.

So for them it really is a combination (or mix/match depending on the person) internal issues with sexuality and a fear of their “culture” the white supremacist, imperialist society that America was founded (white male property owning class, women as obedient servants and vessels for reproduction, ideally servant/slave underclass to labor and sustain the lifestyle of the property class) on is at fear of falling down

Of course this is true to some degree, which is why you have seen the rise in Manosphere, Redpill content which is a result of the economic foundations of women becoming a more active part of the labor force and being able to make decisions economically more autonomous than before and this of of course carries into how women select for partners and what they personally want and need out of a relationship

And of course this isn’t inherently racist but in America’s context it has a material basis rooted in upholding this framework so even within the manosphere you will have some men of any race that can ultimately end up spouting inherently reactionary Nazi rhetoric like Myron who is a product of his environment

he was using them as a negotiating tactic the same way he did with colombia. whether or not it was a smart one is a different story, but he clearly was doing it in a directed manner

no offense to @Snowboy , because i get what they're saying that they're white/cis, and sure to some degree okay in terms of like specifically Thiel's alignment with the GOP maybe, but on a wider scale this isn't really what the actual causality is.
If people think the split between gays and trans is really because of that, it shows a serious lack of understanding of the history of gay rights and thought within gay communities. It's just ahistorical and revisionist.
There has always been a substantial tension in gay communities between focus on sexuality vs focus on gender - and I don't mean just with like "log cabin republicans" or whatever dumb s***. I mean even in actual otherwise politically progressive spaces.
This is not limited to well off rich or conforming white gays. On a broad scale, someone who is even extremely popular in the gay community and even among trans people - RuPaul - is a great example of representing the tension between gays and trans people. There has always been massive debate within the gay community about the validity of being trans and also shared spaces with them.

I’m more mad about countries giving into his demands.

The part i find odd is that now that they have this huge influx of influence, the first thing they do is push pro gay stuff? I just did not expect it to be so important to them.

most of your comment is fine but "1%" s*** is just liberalism. you live in a settler colony, the main contradiction in the US is between america's internal colonies and the white settler gentry who are actually in control of america's land, wealth, and resources. this idea that it's a handful of billionaires vs "the rest of us" is Bernie Sanders populist crap.

What do you gain from saying any of this in a us centric thread. Do you honestly think anyone will take you seriously

peter thiel has been on the wave of conservative lolbertarianism with the caveat of being hardcore pro-gay rights as long as he's been in politics. basically Gawker is maybe solely to blame for the entire political landscape because they outed him in 2007

I think he’s also just using his common tactic of unleashing a whole shotgun blast of stupid and polarizing acts we can’t catch up with each one.

He just let Elon close USAID which literally saves lives and helps people across the world which give us a lot of soft power leverage, something too subtle for this f***ing dumbass to understand. He only understands the stick and not the carrot. On top of letting Elon stick his fingers into the payment system of the treasury wtf

sad that individualism is so rife and institutionalised worldwide but in particular the US that a lot of people are probably happy for Musk and his groyper thiel f***toys to rip up the state so long as it saves muh taxpayer dollars
