the reality that some elitist/privileged via geography poc (if it don't apply let it fly) have had growing up doesn't correlate well with the reality that working class poc (that weren't privileged via geography) had to deal with.

Hence why our worldview is naturally clashing.

There are people (hi, I'm people) that saw virtually nothing change regardless of who was in office. What do you tell those people.

People in Georgia literally saw their votes literally not count/matter because Kemp was able to steal the local elections from Stacey Abrams. What do yall tell those people?

We saw a crazy b**** from Georgia end up in Congress off the basis of gerrymandering

At some point, a straw breaks the camel's back. Whether you want to acknowledge that or not, is out of the question

I live in sacramento bro lol trumpvillle is 20 minutes away like anywhere else. Matt Barnes has spoken on the KKK trying to intimidate him in high school.

right. controlling the labor supply itself is how wages are regulated. at different periods this means deportation, or simply keeping migrants in poverty wages.

yes exactly, immigration and deportation are two sides of the same tool used to attempt to manipulate wages, which in turn influences pricing of other things

Yeah, I think the main purpose it to depress wages and discipline labor, I don’t think it removes the fact this is an incentive to capitalize on additional slave labor

do you mean by putting them in prison?

you know illegal immigration itself is essentially the actual supply of slave labor right? like this is something libertarian thinktanks openly profess and its a not so secret reason many liberal cities (who hide behind moral virtue signaling) actually ""support"" it. trump clearly is not deporting people because he wants to protect the illegal immigrants themselves by any means but the reason for deportation is certainly not amassing a supply of slave labor

During a recent corporate earnings call, Geo Group CEO Brian Evans estimated that his company could make as much as $400 million annually by filling empty or underutilized beds at existing detention facilities to support what he called the "future needs for ICE and the federal government," referring to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

I would love to hear what your life as an arabic woman in america is like. We know you are a woman, what daily struggles do you see?

Where do you live? What do you do for work anyways? Youre voice could obviously cover so much more ground than your usual limited points. What opinions do you hold on feminism? I have some close ties to an anthropologist working with middle eastern refugees - whats your stance on that?

why not break out of the shell and give us a better view to better understand your regular points

I've posted stuff about feminism in the communism thread from MIM and Nazariya Magazine. I've mentioned plenty of times on this board that im a taxi driver (for now) and live in philadelphia. I just don't prattle on about my own life except for when its relevant to the conversation. Im also not trying to doxx myself because I've watched it happen to folks on here.

That's not how that works man lol. People been suffering in America. If the politican wants office, they need to mobilize their base. Kamala didn't

Not Trump is a big enough mobilizing force for me personally than anything Kamala could realistically do for me materially but if you were genuinely dumb enough to think the outcomes in either administration to be equal I could see thinking this

this is Q-Anon tier schizoposting in terms of trying to make a mountain out of something that is very literally directly stated

    1) private prisons supported Trump deportation plans because of making money off of federal payments to them for HOLDING prisoners.
    2) prisons - like cops - support Trump because in general over half his platform his being "tough on crime" which invigorates their actual very literal business

ICE already relies on private detention facilities so of course they will support a plan which bulks that up. This has no overlap with "slave labor", not because private prisons don't generate slave labor, but because private prison slave labor does not manipulate wages on the level immigration does and i can promise you in a macroeconomic sense deportations are being used with political opportunism to manipulate wages. It doesn't even make sense they would simply shift that into prison labor. That doesn't benefit the economy the way you think it does

I don't see how this isn't relevant, if everyday you utilize "I am a woman" repeatedly in this thread.

If it's important enough to vocalize in this thread this often, I'd love to hear more reasons behind it being brought up to relate to your primary focus and understand more behind this.

the poster I responded to said the presidential candidate didn't need to mobilize their base and the notion of that was childish. You don't need some grand counter, this actually could of been a pretty easy election to win if kamala and the DNC did what all public servants running for office are supposed to do....mobilize her base.

I am clearly speaking on YOUR personal beliefs and feelings surrounding being a woman living in the United States.

We don't need a book or a source or anything. Just hoping to get a better grasp on your feelings of the current social environment as a woman. I'd like to hear your thoughts in relation to your own experiences here.
