nah, not really. the republicans have like the slimmest majority in history and a number of those republicans are rhinos. look at the cabinet appointments for example. the idiots trump tried to get in there faced big opposition even from other republicans. no way tulsi gabbard gets in, even though even she finally kneeled to israel, and they were massively prepared to fight matt gaetz before he was outed for being a s***criminal. it's the same thing we saw during the first term: neocons are not actually loyal to trump at all and are basically completely opposed to anything that is too extreme, like the border wall, and the supreme court hasn't really been all that loyal to him either. they will absolutely strike down the birthright citizenship thing.

just because they co-opted trump, realizing they couldn't win without him, doesn't mean they're loyal to him or aren't going to sabotage and haven't already sabotaged pretty much every one of those hardlines his maga movement base has, and that's not even mentioning all of the s*** that trump himself as compromised on, such as legal immigration. realistically american presidents only have one year to implement any kind of real change, and then they say they can't do anything drastic because they need to win the midterms, especially since, as i said, they have the slimmest majority in at least recent history. it's the same thing every election cycle.

if you don't see anything drastic in the next hundred days nothing will happen just like his last term. trump, like all presidents before him, serves the interest of capital, and the most serviceable thing he can do at the moment is not rock the boat and that is what his handlers and his disloyal cabinet will have him do. even his VP is an agent of palantir and little tech. trump is either really stupid or doesn't actually care about any of the s*** he used to campaign on, and realistically it's a bit of both.

i understand people need a bogeyman, but the real bogeyman is the system, not the lightning rod they use to divert attention away from aforementioned system.

like i said to the other person, that's not a sure thing either. that's gonna play out in the courts and as i explained, it's not like these judges are loyal to trump anyway

all i want you to understand is that it's not gonna be nearly as bad as you might think. we'll survive. focus on the big picture and learn how the system you live under works. that's the best advice i could give you
