this movie made me physically ill

Feel like I need to rewatch it to catch s*** but also gonna be a long time before I can rewatch coz this is a loooong movie. I respect and appreciate Scorsese making longer films in the current climate but they could've shaven 30 mins off and still gotten everything across imo

This is enough for me to believe it’s true:

Last month, after Charles Bramesco spilled the beans on X, I contacted a source of mine who told me that PTA definitely wrote “a big chunk” of the final script. Hollywood Elsewhere’s Jeffrey Wells then checked with a person with ties to ‘Killers’, and he didn’t pour water on it either. He called PTA “an artist” and said “anything he may have done rewrite-wise could have only helped.”

I decided to then contact Roth himself, who is always kind enough to reply to my emails, and his vague response was neither a confirmation nor a denial. I’ll leave it at that.

PTA probably gave Roth all credit out of respect. Roth is someone he most likely looked up to with his history of work
