Man, it's not completely about the music. It's about how relevant they are. Cudi kinda fell off the last years and had a resurge with KSG and MOTM3 but lost all of his momentum somehow.

That doesn't have something to do with the beef with Kanye tho but he made it worse with his useless statements and actions against other people like Mike Dean.
