its not just the production, some of the vocal styles too like on another day and she knows this
Once again I disagree…but to each their own.
If this is ur argument tho that’s a couple songs out of how many? 18?
That not a lot lol
That’s perfectly fine but that’s why I don’t get the well he’s rapping too modern takes.
I think it’s the trap influence in the production that makes most ppl think that. And his use of adlibs which surprisingly cudi pulled off nice
Nah not Another Day. That song is one of the most MOTM sound songs on the album.
not with those adlibs..

well id have to go back and relisten for sure but i rmb a lot of this on the 1st and 2nd act and partly the 4th
btw as of now (track 6) i'm liking entergalactic's take on modern music a lot more

Only one song on there is trap and that’s cuz of pop smoke and skepta mainly. Too many people hear hard 808s and drums and consider it trap. Trap music is actually about trapping lol. That’s just modern production.
Adlibs are a very small part of a song lol
they're still a cudi son-defining feature
The film was actually very good, there is some actual magic and potential in the cast there… I think this could very well be a full on show with a bigger budget
Highly enjoyed it, the only part I didn’t like too much was the ending, I think it coulda ended with a bigger bang
Solid 7.5/10 - 8/10

It’s also like, how much are you really thinking about the music/writing/vocals/production and taking it in if the second you hear trap drums, you write it off
Similar thing happened with Vince Staples self titled album. People said it had too many songs with trap drums but if the only thing between you liking the song is trap drums or boom bap drums then how much are you really taking in the other elements
Do what I want and new mode have trap style drums but synth wise, bass wise, vocally are so solid
So adlibs overpower the beat, flow & lyrics?
i wouldn't say that, but when listening they do stick out as an element which defines "new cudi" over "old cudi" (vocally)
this was a good album idk what motm3 even was
Give MOTM3 another go after f***ing with this.
I feel like this and that are operating on so much of the same style, you could drag and drop songs from either project onto the next
I get not liking either but I can’t see many people loving one and not the other
You might like it more now

Let’s be honest a lot of music listeners with hiphop/rap music base almost their whole opinion of why they do or do not enjoy a song based off the beat. If you have it in ur head that you don’t want cudi over modern or “trap” production. The second you hear the beat drop ur going to be disappointed.
Maybe So is MOTM level tier
Maybe so gets me in my feels
Beautiful ass song
So this is a movie? Tf is going on man lol
yeah its a movie split into chapters
tbh there's potential for spin offs depending how cudi feels about it
Maybe so gets me in my feels
Beautiful ass song
Yeah it’s the song that’s really been sticking to me emotionally especially since I’m dealing with a break up
