so far lots of repetition he may not beat the soundtrack allegations I fear
Album is pretty good. Not his personal best, but still a lot of very good jams to unpack and maybe 1/2 skips at best.
I think the biggest conclusion I reached after finishing listen to this is it’s amazing how Cudi is 10 studio albums in and has reinvented himself in every single one. Not a single project in his catalogue sounds similar to another. He’s about 300 songs into his career, yet every song is distinctive and unique in its own right. I don’t think you can say that for 90 percent of hip hop artists who are rapping and singing today. The lack of substance has been far too present in current hip hop, and I think Cudi is one of the very few artists who doesn’t fail in that regard.
Something he doesn't get enough credit for. MOTM3 is probably his "safest" album but even then it has its own distinct sound and vibe compared to the rest of his catalogue

wait why didn't he want this to be considered a soundtrack?
Because he's a stupid hack
Gonna watch some of the show/movie whatever before I knock out
