He said this was the first song he made with takeadaytrip. This would've been first song made in MOTM3 sessions so that's why it sounds so similar. This song is probably 2+ years old

Entergalatic has probably been finished since last year. Maybe even earlier.

My personal theory is that MOTM3 was originally a very spur of the moment mixtape made from the sessions with Take A Daytrip & Dot Da Genius which also included a few songs cut from Entergalatic. Ben Baller had mentioned Cudi dropping a mixtape before Entergalatic and i think MOTM3 is what that ended up being.
