Show > Album that “isn’t” a soundtrack

The songs aren’t even bad. They fit the show well. But together as an album it feels like they fall flat if that makes any sense. I just wish I had more than a couple standouts on this. Again I don’t think any of the tracks were bad, but I don’t see myself revisiting this one much if at all. Definitely SF low for me

But i want to put emphasis on the show being good. Well uhh movie. Idk. I thought this was supposed to be an actual series the way it was marketed. But digressing I actually didn’t think I would like it at first and ended up absolutely loving it and it ended up being the actual album I walked away underwhelmed with

5th listen this morning and yeah this was cool. #6 in my rankings

also just weird to compare a project that just came out 3 days ago to projects from 10+ years ago that have stood the test of time. obviously those are better, it just goes without saying. why even compare them.

The album was done in 2019. He wasnt going off the scenes. Lol its an album and he said its his last. Dont know why it matters if its a soundtrack or album lol same s***

To play devils advocate usually there's a lot of songs on movie soundtracks that aren't in the actual movie.

It happens man. I guess you could say i outgrew him or i just dont get excited like i once did. I started coming on ktt in 09 mainly for cudi lol i never cared for kanye that heavy. But i definitely stopped coming on here like i once did, but man ill never forget the beginning days of cudder.
