But if we wanna go there, yes I believe there are more actual enemies to get at than a rapper that dont read. I have the radical opinion that majority of rappers dont stand up for a motherfucking thing besides the increase of their net worth and if they did at the beginning, the industry they are in is counterintuitive to their beliefs and they either throw it away to the side, quit said industry, or just become dillusioned and spend more time arguing online with white folks and ranting bout their s***ty label situation.

I follow the words of Malcolm (a real leftist) that, these niggas is entertainers. They was never no revolutionaries to begin with. Never been a musician besides Fela Kuti that ever enacted some s*** to pop off. Closest we had over here was Nina Simone and Pac (when he wasnt in his kayfabe)

For the umpteenth time, I personally find it a waste of time worrying bout the actions of rappers dawg. Most them is p****. The landlord is much more reachable and fadable

Ok fair, Sure I agree those are bigger targets but it doesn’t take energy to “worry about it” and that’s not what your doing by trying to only respond to rightful criticism of him by insulting the people saying it then going lalala when it comes to acknowledging the damage public figures have done! If you truly don’t care then just ignore it and talk about what matters to you, Kanye is not just an entertainer he is a member of the billionaire class and a state tool of propoganda for years. Two things can be true at once. Simply saying we’ll forgive him he’s just mentally ill he’s just a rapper is running defense man! And it’s the same collective arguments for why he and many other men like him have been continuously allowed back to get more and more egregious w time there’s no actual reason to show tolerance to it. Not that u have to protest or anything I’m not doing that but there’s such a thing as nuance a thing can be bad and be left at that and also these other things are bad. The problem is you can say that but u don’t act like it when u keep going at people for saying the thing you supposedly agree with. There’s a dif between an artist being a revolutionary and being the biggest non political public figure for normalizing fascism in the mainstream. It’s enabling to try to tell people to calm down or not care or nitpick or s*** on the validity of the source when they just call that s*** out and give their thoughts on it. The whole thing I was responding to was a guy insisting that ppl who don’t forgive him r self righteous and that a guy can’t talk about that cuz of a lil Wayne pfp lol
