You literally picked his only two good albums to me, and I dont even think Awaken is that good tbh.
I'll give you BTI though, that was a banger.

providerMind you, Michael was a visual artist. Michael's impact on fashion is immense. Michael helped direct many of his videos. Michael's role in The Wiz is actually iconic, which I couldn't say about any of Cudi's acting thus far.
mjs impact culturally, politically, (eveything you said as well), is quite literally the epitome of what an artist should be. cudi and ALL artists rn have such a long way to go before they can EVER compare themselves to MJ

The quality BTI lacks gets overlooked because "Screenplay. The music videos. He's in character during the interviews. Interconnected universe!" but if you look at the tracklist itself and stack it up against other actual classics that doesn't have all that extra s*** going on

Those are mixtapes when he was still figuring out himself
When he did, he stayed consistent, Cudi has steadily declined and has absolutely terrible albums as an established artist
