Deadass this is a move I would’ve expected from Kendrick before Drake

We still waitin on ya boy to drop he’s 2-0 rn
My hot take is that on a lyrical level the diss verses we are getting in this modern era (from Pusha, Drake, Kendrick) are way more advanced than any of the disses from the 90s - 2000s, the disses back then were prototypical and they were huge moments but objectively compare verses from back then to what we’re getting now and it’s not a contest
In a lyrical way I agree but let’s not forget that Hit ‘em Up and its contemporaries had real street energy behind them which also gave these tracks another dimension
It’s not really comparable, different eras but I do think that we’re in a sort of golden era of diss tracks again
Feel like in the 2000s post 50 Cent, diss tracks turned into a joke that had much more of a comedic feel to them. We’ve returned to a more direct & personal way of going about it again these past few years and it’s def good for the sport and music overall
The way Drake is moving in this battle is the way I always imagined Kendrick would

Good points, I agree

He HAS to have a huge nuke right, if not it’s probably joever for Kendrick sadly. Who would have thought? I hope for the sake of hiphop that Kendrick snaps back at Drake the way everybody imagined he would

i don’t think he’d be posting as much probably just the songs but punch & them would be moving like drake fs lol

KDot too mysterious he's yelling his diss track thru the echoey sewers of NYC
The way Drake is moving in this battle is the way I always imagined Kendrick would
That’s why Kendrick has under1% chance of winning
Smart from pedo

yeah let me clarify — minus the social media antics, I wouldn’t think Kendrick would do that of course
