Tbh the only reasons I can think of is he wants it to bubble under radar for very casual fans. He may also know it’s not a de facto charting hit (I don’t think he’s intending for it to be) whereas “Like That” is number 1 for 3/4 weeks now. It’s not good optically if your response is not as popular on the charts. So he doesn’t want them to be compared in that way. Maybe the next one he kinda teased will be his “hit” song. Those are the only two reasons I can think of. I think they’re viable reasons, but that’s my takeaway.
