Drake was pretty cocky after Duppy, posting that invoice for Push and Ye and all. But I feel like he’s got something up his sleeve for this one. Kendrick too.

B. Drake is just that confident (or delusional, from another perspective), that he believes no matter what Kendrick says he can deal with it even without some big info.
It goes even deeper if we assume that Drake does have something big, but Kendrick knows this and doesn’t care. Which then means
A. Drake knows Kendrick’s knows about the big info Drake has, and Drake is still egging Kendrick on because he genuinely believes his info is that amazing and will end everything
B. Drake doesn’t know Kendrick’s knows what he has, and may get shocked when Kendrick’s has hurl a response wor whatever he has
This is all assuming Kendrick responds back in the first placeI also wonder- is the extended/original Kendrick like that verse has Kendrick saying some genuinely crazy career fidscredting s***, or is just more lyrical subliminals/shots but slightly more harsh. I'm with you on both A1 and A2 for sure. Slightly leaning to A2 because Drake has signaled to Kendrick he knows a lot about his time at TDE, so Kendrick has probably went over worst-case scenarios on what Drake may know and worked that into his calculation. That's why I think Kendrick will try to kill him with his response, but I think he'll keep something extra in the tuck if Drake still chooses to respond with another track
B1 I don't think is likely. It looks like Drake learned from what Push did to him on Adidon. I think he's prepared this time and is trying to recreate a similar scenario but with Kendrick on the receiving end

so I’ll just pull it hereGoing to preface this with saying I’m not saying I have any basis for what I’m saying other than a guess nor am I making a claim but to me there’s nothing other than he has undeniable proof someone at some point was writing for Dot is what he’s going to expose. Contract situations, infidelity, whatever like none of that would ever decimate Kendrick’s status but that to me. That’s why I think he’s so adamant that he wants a response because he knows first hand what those type of allegations can do especially to someone like Kendrick.
