IRONDrake didn’t post the diss anywhere official, but is clearly mocking/teasing because he has SOMETHING big. Rick Ross trolling making the whole thing look unserious, Metro might stay tweeting, but the whole thing can just stop here and be forgotten about down the line.
Kendrick can just not reply, most his fans could happily just switch and take the “high road” - worked for Drake when it was Pusha T. Only thing is Kendrick has really been talking that talk for a while, he’s got something to actually PROVE now and he can definitely hit lyrically. We really just have to wait and see
My only reservation with this strategy is that beside Kendrick being a pedophile or a woman beater, I don’t think people care about dirt. Kinda why Push Ups fell flat. Everyone has bad first deals.

Part of me really thinks Kendrick thought his Like That verse was no big deal and it was just his competitive nature coming out (like with Control)

if you trust stopcappin on reddit, the person who originally leaked that kendrick had a verse dissing drake on we don't trust you, his verse was originally three minutes long and way more disrespectful to drake and future wanted it to be cut down.

From Kendrick's perspective, I honestly don't think he expected Drake would do all this. I definitely didn't. His verse on Like That was just asking Drake "to prove he's a problem" and was purely competitive. Drake made it personal, but it lowkey is a 20 v 1 so I can maybe see why he did what he did.
I don't think Drake had any of this info before though. My guess is he put money out for dirt the same way he did with Pusha T, and some disgruntled TDE folks came to him with dirt. Again he could've been bluffing and made that 50% split stuff up just to be funny but I doubt it.

Drake made control personal. If Kendrick expected him to take this as just competition, that’s pretty dumb of him. I think Kendrick believes he has no skeletons. Maybe Drake knows something he doesn’t even know.

We care about dirt and deep stuff like that but the average listener just wants to hear some great music & some great lines mixed with insults. I think Push Ups did that very well, most people don’t care about the intricacies of Kendrick’s deal, but drop and give me 50 sounds hurtful!
