Meek Mill was hungry for success. He wanted to take Drake's spot and be the talk of the town. When he heard rumors that Drake might have had help writing his verses, Meek saw an opportunity. He did not credit the writer for Drake's verso on R.I.C.O., Quentin Miller. He believed that if he exposed Drake as a fraud, he could take him down.

Meek took to Twitter and directly accused Drake of using a ghostwriter. He named Quentin Miller, an Atlanta rapper who was relatively unknown at the time, as the one behind Drake's hit song "Rico". Meek's implication was that Drake's entire career was built on lies.

The internet went wild. Fans were shocked and questioned whether Drake was truly authentic. It was chaos. However, Drake wasn't one to back down. He didn't release just one diss track, but two – "Charged Up" and the brutally scathing "Back to Back." Drake tore Meek apart and mocked him for being insignificant compared to himself.

This revelation backfired on Meek. It became evident that he had intentionally twisted the story to make Drake look worse. He lost all credibility, while Drake continued to rise in popularity. This beef between them became legendary, showcasing the lengths people will go to get ahead and how the truth always finds its way to the surface.

That's such a random claim that does what? Makes the record sell more? Like what is the point of telling a lie like that?

The funniest thing abt drake is that if a drake ref track leaks it’s “he was singing over the Partynextdoor song that pnd actually wrote” but if it’s the opposite it’s “Drake definitely didn’t write this”
