come to think of it - when its all said and done - Drake will go down as a mfing legend -much bigger than kendrick and cole. especially considering the point that he was battle tested

"Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers is critic bait!"

Ah yes, the album with a song about f***ing white b****es as revenge for the ancestors. A "song" that is just a man and woman screaming at each other for 5-6mins. A song that casually drops homophobic and transphobic slurs. Has a Baby Keem feature. And also features a rapist on a track and does skits/interludes throughout the album...is critic bait.

@Zackbrah You know you often say a lot of extremely stupid ass s*** and frequently step out of your lane as a c***from Europe speaking on Black music and culture. But I really think that might have been the dumbest s*** you have ever said lol

He is the most experienced in battle rap between J. Cole and Kendrick. He is tapped in the battle rap culture in general.. man was hosting King of the Dot and URL battles.

Drake has consensus 5 classic projects

    So far Gone
    Take Care
    Nothing Was the Same
If You're Reading This It's Too Late
What a Time to Be Alive

As a person who is sure wayne is the greatest rapper of all time

I wouldnt want to see him in a beef after push ridiculed him

Facts. I believe part of his longevity is cause he never really have had any serious beefs. That baby money line on C4 is still funny though.

Idk just thinking about this more and the last 10 years there's clearly more going on behind the scenes than we know. Like Cole and Kendrick have had an on off relationship but I can see what Drake means when he said "is it real or not? If the beef is real then let it be real" in 2013 post Control. It came off overly sensitive to me initially but there is this definite trend of Kendrick throwing out jabs but when people bite back he just absolves responsibility and says an excuse.

Like after Control when pressed in interviews he says he respects their music and the fact that Drake and Cole are in different lanes to him. Then proceeds to sub both for 10 years with lyrics indicating that they're not real hip hop or that his strain of hip hop is more valid than the others. Purism essentially. Just comes off as mixed messaging. Do you have a problem or not? Do you respect our art as valid or not type s***. Like he can't make his mind up as a gatekeeper. Drake seems easy to control honestly, his biggest weakness is that he's sensitive and people can manipulate that. Cole doesn't have that issue.

But I respect how he is trying to light the genre back up with this.

It's very clear that you are extremely biased when it comes to Kendrick, so I don't think it makes sense talking about it as you refuse to open your eyes. Morale tried to be deep but it didn't succeed in terms of that and several of the stuff you just mentioned have actually been used as arguments as to why it's a good album. Also, don't even start about the slurs. You guys said it was fine that he said it because he said it show that he has improved as a human over the years.

The only part you are correct about is the Kodak feature but we all know that he is more protected by the media than most of the other rappers so he doesn't have to worry about that
