The s*** he said about kendricks albums didn't even make much sense at all, especially coming from him
It just happened to be that Cole wanted to be friends with everybody (He fw Kendrick but collabs with drake) which seems true to his nature and he tried to force some rap battle s*** that wasn't really true to him
I think its better he stepped down rather than give us any more fake / mid disses

Exactly, people think this was the worst outcome, but in reality continuing something he doesn’t actually want to do would’ve hurt his legacy much more than this. People are more upset Cole won’t entertain them and don’t care that Cole genuinely respects Kendrick.
I can see Kendrick really respecting this move and them finally making some more music together.
That’s a much better outcome then them fake beefing imo
