Drake stans make TPAB sound more cerebral and experimental than even the biggest Kendrick d***rider. They talk about it like it's some abstract art installation that you need 3 PhDs to understand and not a platinum album that went No. 1 in every Western country.

Fantano kiddies and Redditors who unironically proclaim to everyone that ‘tpab is the greatest album ever recorded’ were doing that for years before Drake stans even cared

People making their own alternative history

people who never liked the album and actually hate the fans more than the music (a common occurrence in entertainment) finally feel comfortable pushing their opinions as facts

One thing I haven’t heard anyone say about Coles diss is

    “Kendrick got hurt”
    “Kendrick took an L”
“How is Kendrick going to respond”

Just people coming out the woodwork to say they may have found one of his albums boring.
when I was a kid I found the Godfather boring but I’m not stupid enough to say it’s trash.

    Cole diss was trash.

Mostly because they’re paying attention to the wrong lines

“Your arms might be too short to box with the god who lives his life without the pressure of a constant facade”

Nobody talks about this line because most rap fans are surface level oriented with gen z brains but this s*** hurt kendrick for sure because it’s very true and is deeper than any of the album s***

Dudes make King Kunta out to be this crazy off the rails experimental noise piece then you play it and it’s just a funk song

It’s settled, Coles diss was trash. Fantano said so

That was a a deep line for sure. Always have found the whole Jesus angle from MM odd and his inclusion of Kodak on his album.

Though kendrick says he is walking away from all that at the end of his album, a big chunk of his career has had some form of facade for sure. But again nothing kendrick can’t respond in greater measure.

Idk how exactly it “hurt him for sure” when the core message of his whole last album was that he’s a regular person and not this savior image he’s been painted as

That was the Rumor before it dropped. Supposedly it was heavily stripped from people who heard the early version.

    Wish he would release it.

Painted as? He painted himself as that. Kendrick is lebron if lebron won no rings. Fake king.

He took on the challenge and then backed down when he felt like he couldn’t live up to it

Very nothing bar. He's already criticized himself for tryna do just that before. The "tragic" album was all about that.
