AvenueJonesI think that whole standard should die off the same way others have. Niggas pick and choose tho and that’s cool but when you are at the level all three are at, they should be allowed time to craft projects, especially Cole and Kendrick who seem to really focus on crafting albums.
They aren’t in the position of many stars of the past that were pigeonholed on f***in 20 album deals, and they don’t need to get “hot”. I would’ve liked to hear Kendrick more as well so I get it being a critique towards him and imma Curren$y so ofcourse I pay respect to those who flood the streets but I appreciate artist taking their time.
Tbh if curren$y spent 10X or even 100X longer on his songs and put out less of them it would be so incredible. And I love him as is. His music sounds like when you wake up in the morning with the first coffee and smoke some weed and watch some old cartoon or somehting cozy. It’s so comfy

I’m not mad at this because the projects he does take time on I think you can hear the difference compared to some where he’s just kinda in autopilot lol But it’s always one joints ona Spitta project.
I feel like him and Larry June are both at the level they can drop 2-3 projects throughout the year and just coast.
