Assessment of CLB:

Coming into CLB, you're expecting alot of goat R&B love songs from Drake except that's not quite what happens.

Drake did not take his time to craft this album the right way and did not stay true to the theme. It's all over the place.

The sequencing is off. Alot of things feel off. Only a few standout R&B songs like N 2 Deep and Get Along Better.

There's too many unnecessary beat switches on this album like on Fair Trade.

Jay's verse on Love All is amazing but I want to hear him talk about using his billions to assassinate niggas on a harder beat.

The album is too long. He could've shorten it. But why didn't he?
Because Just like Views and Scorpion, he sticking to a formula.

Part of the formula is feed the fans.

He's also the type of artist to get inspiration from events that happen in his own life. Because he's at the top and nothing major in his life seems to change, he is forced to rap about the same things.

If you are a heavy Drake stan, you are mostly happy with this because this is secretly want you want. More of the same. This is not a bad thing sometimes if you are a fan. CLB hits certain spots.

But it's clear to everyone else.....Drake fell off
