SilasI partly agree with you but sometimes you have to give a slightly escalated warning shot to the warning shot just to see how serious the person is.
It's similar to war.
If you are a leader of a country and an ally who you had a relationship wants war and starts threatening you or your status, you're not gonna just drop a nuke.
You might launch a missile and tell them if they continue to threaten you, then you're be more aggressive.
I know fans and people who want to see these guys go all out want more aggression but there's a human element to this. Very hard to go at someone you like just off the rip. There's also strategy.
Even Drake dropped Charged Up (slightly escalated warning shot) to see what Meek got after he initiated the beef. And when he saw Meek wasn't like that, Drake completely destroyed him.

Drake never lost anything. There was never a deal in place with Adidas. An Adidas executive who was close to the negotiations admitted this. Pusha just capped because he had one piece of info about Drake that was true and he knew people would believe anything else that he said because of that.
