Apr 5, 2024Well, I am a person who only comments on things I am very knowledgeable about. I've tried a couple of dishes which I enjoyed but I can't place the cuisine on a list if I haven't tried at least 15-20 different dishes. It would't be fair towards a country and a culture. Food is special and the dishes and ingredients have a deeper meaning to them. There is history behind it. I therefore want to show respect when it comes to stuff like that and don't just talk out of my ass.

First off, taking 5+ years off doesn't mean you'll return with an album that'll be loved generally. MMATBS is proof of that.
Second, Kendrick's strongest creative run (2011-2017), happened in a span of 6 years, across 4 albums.
This idea that anyone needs 5+ years to craft a decent album is false.
I think the process of Kendrick leaving TDE wasn't as clean and smooth as they want to portray outside

This is true but on worldwide steppers when he said he had writers block for two years. Morale released in 2022, so that means from 2018-2020 he wasnt suffering with it, hence why its fair to assume he had an album to go in 2020
