I’m not speaking on what he said exactly I’m speaking on his energy. He didn’t have that same confidence to me. Sounded like he scrambled to respond so quickly mostly because he didn’t know what Kendrick was gonna drop.
Remember he was the one that was pushing the narrative on Kendrick having a diss track I t he works for 4 years. Whether that’s true or not I think is clear Drake didn’t have as much intel onto how prepared Kendrick was

There was speculation that the shooting at his house had a lot to do with essentially ending all back and forth in the beef. Obviously I don’t know how true that is but I do remember the day the shooting happened drake and dot were anticipated to both drop records again and then it just went away…
If I’m drake in this situation I just move on too though. Mainly because it’s clear that these guys no longer f*** with you and a back and forth is just giving them more content to rap about.
