However, I think he made the decision to go the “stream of consciousness” route after CLB with a sprinkle of HNVM vibes because he was worried the constant hit making was going to get stale and box him into one lane. I really think he’s tried to broaden his discography to flex his versatility.
His hooks have been significantly scaled back from what they used to be and his marketing/rollouts are different from what they used to be. I believe that was all done intentionally.
I could just be coping but these are my thoughts

The hook point is valid. I remember when Drake was nearly automatic with them joints. My only reservation is how don’t you revert back to what you know when your battle career depended on it. He didn’t even do a time stamp which is where he raps the best. I would like a documentary of his thought process

Before that I would switch in-between iPhones and Galaxy's. Now I'm just rocking with this 3 year old Pixel, which imo is not better than Galaxy's
