I'm actually getting back into my lifting bag this month beeen doing cardio a lot only for doc to tell me HIIT and lifting will help my metabolism more (it gets BRUTAL after 30'trust me lol 😔) and will burn more. I swear these trainers at gyms don't know s*** if it's not about bulking lmaooo

I’ve learned over the years that you aren’t going to out work your diet so I completely changed things up. Started counting calories for a deficit or surplus depending on if I was trying to bulk or lose weight and started focusing on hypertrophy while lifting instead of just going to the gym to say I did it and became focused on hitting a daily protein goal, since those changes, my gains have been nuts. I’m probably the strongest I’ve ever been in my life and in the best shape ever now.
