NoirThe reason people attached to the Drake stuff is that it's an old, broadly accepted narrative Kendrick used to his advantage.
Kendrick also did a great job of using Drake's actor background and obsession with creating facades for himself to paint him as a liar. Couple that with a lack of substantive proof and none of Drake's accusations actually stuck.
I can see this take. It is pretty interesting that no one batted an eye when Drake called Kendrick a woman beater but tbh it's not really looked at the same way as SA allegations.
The only person I've seen in recent memory get any pushback was XXXTENTACION. Carti fans still listen to his music and he has multiple abuse charges against him

Just want to point out that ppl long been labeling ppl who mess with high schoolers pedophiles and they sincerely believe it. It's not technically accurate but it's not a new opinion and Kendrick didn't invent it.
If you ran a poll on here, pre-beef, asking if a 30 year old creeping on a 17 year old was a pedophile, I think the results would have been pretty mixed.
