Thats very true, but how is an artist supposed to live life, get inspired, feed the creativity, if they’re constantly in the studio like a work horse?
Also my question to you isnt about the artist but why you as the audience aren’t giving the artist grace to create how they feel they need to create without pulling their card as a creator? When had art ever been about speed? And even if it is that way for one artist, why do you think its fair to put those standards on a whole nother artist? They’re individuals not employees filling a quota.
“Top guys” what are we even talking about here? I’m not a music exec. I’m just a regular nigga who loves art. I dont care what other artists are doing if that method doesnt work for the ones i connect to.

However, rappers play by a different set of rules than most artists, we know this.
If you are on of the top guys (dot, drizzy, Cole) you cannot be MIA
Kendrick is the only one out of the former big 3 that has been accused of being MIA. and IN MY OPINION, his lapses in dropping music has affected his standing as a top rapper. While he has writers block for 5 years Cole and Drake were bombing on niggas lmao
