To be fair DAMN was almost ten years ago. Your views can always change based on new information. On top of that there are plenty of people who believe in GOD/The most high and might agree with beliefs from multiple religions without claiming just one.

Everything that I say on that record is from his perspective. That’s always been my thing. Always listen to people’s history and their background. It may not be like mine, it may not be like yours. It was taking his perspective on the world and life as a people and putting it to where people can listen to it and make their own perspective from it, whether you agree or you don’t agree. That’s what I think music is for. It’s a mouthpiece.

Me too, I would like to hear that as well but I think it’s ultimately circles back to him committing to giving the public pieces of him through music but not the whole picture. On top of being a conduit for his community or peers, family etc.
We don’t know what direction he’ll go in do this next album. But just from lookin at Kendrick he seems to be ina whole different space than he was around last album cycle. His views could be entirely different.
