Eh I don’t really think so. which is controversial i guess and thats fine. But art is just so heavily borrowed from other sources and when you’re creating original work a lot of whats going on in your head is input from others you’ve had previously, applied to this new thing. The two arent as distant as people realize. I think the execution is more important. Like I get someone writing every single thing is impressive, but it’s just another skill set among many. Like if someone played all the instruments on their album and self produced without sampling, it’s impressive but it’s oh this just another skill in its own right. I get some people look at the skill in rapping purely as your writing, or your writing being the biggest part and I respect that. I also don’t rap or make music. But I do make art and understand the creative process very well. As a passive listener, i just care about the execution most.

Using your mind to pull from other's and still come up with it on your own and straight up just using what others tell you to use are two different things. And even if you want to argue execution, the reference tracks and final songs used aren't different in execution at all. Unless you just like one voice saying the words over the other lol
