Drake wanted to keep QM hidden as a "ghostwriter" but credited him on multiple songs off IYRTITL, thanked him in the liner notes and was even hanging out with him publicly around that time. Make it make sense

My point is that if Kendrick himself has only ever sent shots and then denied they were aimed at Drake when asked about and Drake in turn has sent subs/shots at well, stop acting like Kendrick has been directly shooting at Drake for over a decade now while Drake has been ducking him or something because that simply isn't true. They've BOTH been sending subliminals. Even Kendrick's latest verse is still a subliminal, even though it's more direct than his former shots.

Because you can get a writers credit for almost anything if someone chooses to give it to you. QM’s name being in the credits with no other evidence wouldn’t have been undeniable proof that he was writing Drake’s verses.

No, it isn't. Drake doesn't owe it to anyone to say "hey, I'm sending shots at so and so on your song." That's what rappers do. Whoever he's sending shots to can respond however they see fit. That's how the game works lol.
