in all honesty, drake should have been going back to just random drops and catering to fans via streaming live shows and OVO sound special listening events. AGAIN…release COMEBACK SEASON AND ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT ON STREAMING…FFS…DO THE DROPS OF REMIXES, DEMOS, AND UNRELEASED JOINTS. you can’t change the world so just corral supporters and cultivate real audiences.
WORST thing that happened to music is people chasing “stadium status” music in the Kanye lane…but when big audiences go, you lose that real connection to core smaller fan bases. That high can only last but so long because you’re too humble to step out on smaller stages.
Drake should start doing pop ups in clubs in Toronto etc. Just do b-side concerts.
Get back to the fans. It’s the only way to reengage and show the people where you are.
