Except all of his albums have been conceptual in nature, even DAMN (although that was a very loose concept).
Would love to see let loose and just have fun on the next one. He’s 100% earned an album of him just s*** talking.

GKMC: Movie. Title includes “A Short Film by Kendrick Lamar. Cinematic in nature along with the story-like interludes
TPAB: Letter or Poem. I remember you was conflicted
DAMN: Magazine or Play. Highlighted by the album cover and all caps title tracks
MMTBS: Therapy Session

What's the concept
The album is about Kendrick feeling conflicted about his relationship with God
He questioning his beliefs he’s always had and exploring new beliefs and expressing anger caused by the confusion
Also when he dies at the beginning I always looked at that like a life flashing before your eyes moment and him a***yzing how he did in several areas of his life like was he too prideful, did he feed into his lust too much etc
There’s a lot more to it but its basically an album about religion and self criticism

Drake would do good numbers on his own. But when he has an album with 16 features, are the people who use his numbers as an argument just ignoring that a lot of streams are coming from other fanbases and that he knows this? Thus the reason for so many features in the first place.
