I don’t hate yall fr lol
Tbh I woulda been cool with just appreciating 2 all time great rappers going at it and giving them both props but I feel like yall downplay Kendrick so hard in every way it feels good to see Kendrick win
Like yall act like Kendrick is a nobody when he’s the 2nd biggest rapper of his generation
Brother I have written in threads on this site that Kendrick's 3 peat of GKMC TPAB and Damn is the best 3 three peat album run of all time over Kanye drake and em. I've stated on this site and in person he's the best lyricist in rap since 2017. Tbf I think it's the opposite. Yall really saw drake as this r&b pop star who everyone writes raps for and he actually delivered BARS as he should and has. I think we do respect Kendrick but unless we call him the Apple Music Spotify greatest rapper of all time it's seen as disrespectful. Which is fine but it's like, I never once feel like as a drake Stan I didn't appreciate Kendrick and his body of work. Is what it is tho
Niggas wanted Rocky to beef with Tyler so bad and Tyler was antagonizing it and Rocky came out and said he’s a fan of Tyler and thinks they would be better together rather than beefing and extended that olive branch multiple times until Tyler came around to it.
That’s actual maturity especially for someone so early in their career. Rocky’s mindset is something he doesn’t get enough credit for, he truly is a fan of the culture and just wants their to be dope music and for dope artist to get respect. He’s more mature than a lot of his peers
Hodgy Beats was tryna gas that beef too, remember that
KENDRICK WE NEED YA
bro you are OBSSESSED witg @SegaDreamFlash why don't you do it?
you know you wont
dont make me do it dunny cause I overdo it
Bruh Peso was the debut single and I heard it everywhere in the summer. Of course Purple Swag went viral for the video but Peso was neck and neck imo
i aint gon lie gangy I dont remember Peso back then like that but you is from there so I'll take your word for it
I do think Yams had something great with that entire clique. It's no coincidence the last great A&R passing away and everyone in there goes into creative freefall.
75% of this was cause of Yams btw. But I get this take too.
This is what Yams role was. He was the mastermind and Rocky was his artist. This is what he's supposed to do. Bridge the old and new.
"some songs" is putting it lightly dawg, when your whole sound comes from a mentally ill Florida nigga that among his influences was juicy j and them
SGP only produced 1 song on Live Love ASAP and most the beats dont sound like sgp beats
Clams Casino is the person whose sound was really present in Live Love
I think Rocky’s influence from SGP was more aesthetically than sonically

Yes I will concede that Yams is the mastermind behind it all.
But i do remember Peso ringing off.
It was one of the first songs ASAP performed when Kendrick brought him out for his show in NY
same guy randomly dissed rita ora for no reason gangy
That has nothing to do with what we’re talking about

it sounds like im s***tin on rocky (and yea, I've definitely not been a fan of any works post ALLA) but I really do love this song lol.
Is liveloveasap better than any Drake album?
Better than any of his 2020 albums for sure
Rocky showed the maturity at 24 that niggas praise Cole for having at 39
It’s kinda funny cuz it was just in Rocky’s character to do stuff like 1train or f***in problems or fine whine
These things where there’s massive crossover that blends really well and shows the unified potential of collaboration
Its just weird that he beefs w travis
