JbreezyondeckI know the other thread is treating TM as the catalyst of him losing but I think it’s really a symptom of the bigger problem which is him not treating this feud with the upmost severity. He approached it what I’d describe a Druski skit portraying a rap battle to be like, rather than treating it like his actual reputation was on the line. Think that’s the ethos of my issues with Drake over the last few years is that he’s gotten to the point where it became incredibly easy to push something out that would move units off of name rather than merit which intentionally or unintentionally creates this nonchalant attitude (for lack of a better term) that can turn people off of your music relative to the genre. I understand to an extent and people will grief him completely for it but complacency can happen to anyone. All in all even if he could do it over again and Kendrick came out on top, if he approached it with his all rather than as a side mission it would’ve been a lot better for him. He’s a true hip hop pupil he should’ve known better. Smh
This is exactly how i felt when that mess CLB cover dropped. Its like he stopped trying to be an artist. goofy music, goofy music videos, and goofy social media antics lead us here.
