Man has dropped one cohesive album in the last 10 years. Let that man rest lol

And? He didn't try to go for a cohesive album the other times, so why say it in a negative way?

    Well yeah

So you’re asking me I’d rather those good albums in the next 5 years than nothing and the potential to drop dogshit (not naming names) when he’s 43. I’m choosing music man

I am 100% confident if both Kendrick and Drake dropped albums the same day this month, Kendrick would outsell him.

Drake just barely scraped by 400K with a 23-track heavily promoted album with a bunch of big name features on it. His peak commercial days are long behind him.

Kendrick would be in the 450K-500K range if he chooses to drop an album this summer, his name hasn’t been this hot since 2017-2018

You cant criticise an album for not being what YOU want. You praise/criticise it for the quality.

That’s like saying a chef didn’t try to go for cooked food so why should we criticize them for serving a raw dish

It would be smarter for him to take his time and really focus in on a great album, but clearly if he drops on Kendrick’s date, it’s to be petty and make a statement. Part of me thinks that move will backfire big time against him.

I know it’s got to sting, but Kendrick deserves to have his moment. Unless Kendrick opens it back up (which I doubt he will unprovoked) just ride it out and come back on your own time. Dropping a project in the midst of this just seems like a bad idea from an optics standpoint. Much rather him focus on crafting something undeniable that is a step forward from what has transpired over the past couple of months

This is silly because quality is subjective and cohesion is one of the things a lot of people contribute to quality.

Go on then, explain how he ''TRIED'' to release a cohesive album with CLB?

    What means?

All Kendrick has done this entire beef is tweet out YouTube links via Twitter and all of his diss songs have done laps around Drake’s in numbers.

Drake released an entire music video for Family Matters and that s*** freefell down the charts

Maybe if you don't understand music and albums. Anyone who think an album HAS to be sonically cohesive in order for it to be good is just not knowledgeable about the art

That is true. But that's not my point. My point is that it's not a requirement or something all artists try to do with all of their albums.
