Zack From The Sixhe just dropped two albums with 44 tracks in total or sum like dat n only 4-5 songs stood out. no metro = no worries, we good
idk those songs stood out more than anything on Drake's last album

I think back then people assumed that the chaos was planned and was some genius marketing move, but Kanye under all that pressure was really just have a breakdown.
It only got worse in the years after.
I disagree. I think this was the first time we saw insight in real time of the process instead of hearing the crazy things that happen behind the scenes after the fact. So many stories of chaos for mbdtf during close to release date, 808s, Yeezus and CD even being delayed numerous times to finish. Respect your opinion but I truly believe that's just how Ye works. Obviously music wise it's taken a nose dive now and you can see his hearts not in it like it used to be but dude just has different priorities and his mental health declined. I will say the Kim robbery was the catalyst though

KojimboThe Wu Tang references all over NWTS kinda rub me the wrong way. Feels like he’s over compensating. Doesn’t he say he’s listening to Cappadonna at one point? Like why would you NameDrop him of all people other than just to show off that you know who he is.
Feels like he was trying to cater to the hardcore hip hop heads but it’s such a surface level way of doing it.
Because of GKMC. It’s why the album has Memphis roots and black childhood reminiscence and soul samples on frontstreet. It’s why the album is oddly concise for a Drake release. It’s why the deluxe edition is pushed as being the standard edition, down to the dual album cover aspect of it. Oh and the cover…it’s why the standard features a baby Drake. It’s why the official album font is a handwritten graffiti style. It’s why the backdrop is a blue sky — can we look at the framing and subjects of the deluxe covers?
It’s why Drake got Cali’s own Kadir Nelson to do the cover. It’s why the album sounds so gritty. It’s why Drake is going so hard to prove his top spot as his generation’s MC on the album rapping his ass off (remember that people were even saying then that Kendrick was coming for the crown).

Family Matters he sounded hungry and confident. It was a good move. If Kendrick let the song marinate for even a day or more, it could’ve been a wrap.
H6 to me felt like when you have an essay or something due, and you just throw some s*** together at the last minute.
